  • Developed first comprehensive annual plan for $1.2m faith-based non-profit and mentored six program directors in planning principles.
  • Well-received Business Plan for web-based Children’s Immunization Registry to upgrade Indiana’s 49th ranking.
  • Produced Life Insurance Business Plan aggressively turning around 4 years of losses and reserve depletion.
  • Planned and successfully implemented Regional expansion for Indiana’s leading Agency for the handicapped.
  • Developed a N/S America Strategic Plan for Electronics Manufacturer’s global expansion program.
  • Designed and implemented Operations/Best Practices Programs for fast-growth MN Auto Repair Consolidator.
  • Led team in developing $75m Medicaid Partnership launching first Behavioral Managed Care Program in AR.
  • Operating Executive for $60m Behavioral Care Division serving 400k consumers through 1500 professionals.
  • Designed Product Planning Program for four diverse divisions of $100m (now $200+) Publishing Co in TN.
  • Planned and launched Behavioral Health Company’s first BC/BS Medicaid HMO (Western PA).
  • Managed the Troy (NY) based launch of $100m, 90-day “start-up” for NYS employee Managed Care Program.

City on a Hill (formerly City of Hope), General Manager (Milwaukee), 2001- 2002

  • Worked closely with Executive Director to Plan, Organize, Implement and Manage the Development of empty 320,000sf Hospital to bring Community Revitalization, Reconciliation and Transformation, through a Christ-centered model of Service (Luke 10:29). Our Mission: excellence as Stewards, Servants and Partners.
  • Manage Construction, Zoning and Occupancy Approvals requiring $2.1 million for 35,000sf; $500k for new boiler system.
  • Planned and Negotiated an innovative 3 tenant program for 15,000+sf Kitchen Complex to train 100 in Food Services.
  • Co-Developed 2 Year Associate of Arts Program (chartered as City College) to serve 150 in Urban Leadership, Music Technology and Community Engagement.
  • Co-Developed Pilot program to provide Building Trades Training in cooperation with Milwaukee Rescue Mission.
  • Initiated inaugural Live Praise Recording (CD) with 200+ voices and Partnering with 13 Churches for Outreach and Fundraising.
  • Implemented an Americorp volunteer program reputed to be the best in the 12 State Region.

Golden Rule Insurance, Director of National Group Marketing (Indianapolis based) 1994-1995

  • Co-developed and launched five year $425m (from base of $55m) National Group Insurance Business Plan.

MetLife HealthCare Management (Metropolitan Life Insurance managed care subsidiary; St Louis based)

  • VP of Regional Operations 1985-1988 - Managed all functions of 10 Start-up Health Maintenance Organizations in 7 States generating $150+m revenue rate in 1988 (20+ average staff per site). Managed 3 joint ventures with premier area hospitals.
  • Chief Marketing Officer 1984-1988 - Grew Sales from $45m to $480m by building and managing National sales/marketing team in 24 startup markets. $750k/yr in Market Research used to position products, sales programs and all marketplace communications. Established National Leadership with "Point-of-Service", "Senior Care" and other industry innovations. Managed $9+m annual Communications Program in 25 MSA’s.

General Electric Company (Louisville, Plainville, Allentown, Erie, Columbus, Cleveland)

  • Marketing and Sales Management (10+ years) - Led Domestic and International Market and Product Development Teams for 3 Major Divisions in 5 management positions averaging 20+% sales increase annually in established and new markets. Designed Product Planning System for $160m Lighting Business managing portfolio of 15k SKU’s.
  • Design & Production Engineering (4+ years) - Managed tungsten carbide manufacturing shop resulting in over 20% annual productivity improvements. Patent issued on pre-stressed steel container resulting in 10+ years of material and shipping cost savings.
